Gordon is a legend amongst his writers group. In his late eighties he decided to start writing up his memoirs from journals he kept as a young man. Gordon has now written over ten books and is now in his nineties. He says the writing has giving him a new lease on life.

His first book with Tale Publishing will be entitled Come on Board and is a tale of two boat cruises in the 1950’s.

Told in Gordon’s unique style, the memoir recounts how one voyage was fabulous and the other was troubling.
