Tale Publishing was founded with the goal of publishing two or three books a year. Over the last five years Tale Publishing has been running, we have published twenty-five books, far exceeding our aim. We are very proud of this and of the fourteen authors whose works these represent. Additionally, we have published many authors in anthologies for the Monash Writers Group, about half of whom this represented their first published story.
In 2021, we have several new releases. In the first quarter we have:
Amber Khan’s When the World Came Together.
When people stop visiting, three little ducks set out to find why. Across the world, they encounter wonderous people in everyday places who share their stories. Inspired by true events from the human response to the pandemic including the Great Teddy Bear Hunt, this beautifully illustrated book defines our time.
Monash Writers Group Unprecedented Times (Anthology)
The theme of this anthology is Unprecedented Times. Not all the stories relate to the events of 2020, some are historical and others futuristic. The contributors write in a variety of genres, so there is sure to be something in this collection for every reader.
Gordon JR Smith Come on Board
This memoir is a tale of two boat cruises in the 1950’s. Told in Gordon’s unique style, it recounts how one voyage was fabulous and the other was troubling.
In the later part of the year we have one or two books planned for release, which are by existing Tale Publishing authors. More details on those as they become available.
After these publications, Tale Publishing will be aiming to adhere to its original two books a year plan as our publisher has recently started a PhD.
